The Creebridge House Hotel is a traditional Scottish country house hotel which preserves the peace and tranquility of rural life in elegant surroundings. The hotel acquired it's name from the River Cree and is situated in three acres of idyllic gardens and woodland at the foot of the Kirroughtree forest. The hotels location makes it central to a wide variety of activities. From walking and cycling through the nearby forest parks to golf and fishing so close you can walk to the nearest hotspots. In fact the first tee at Newton Stewart Golf Club is just 400 yards away. The busy market town of Newton Stewart is a mere two minutes walk and roughly 30 minutes drive to the port town of Stranraer with ferry links to Belfast.

The Creebridge House Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel set in its own gardens, containing 18 bedrooms all appointed to the highest standard. The hotel provides easy access to many pursuits. Logan gardens, Threave Gardens and castle Kennedy Gardens are all easily within reach. There are many interesting and challenging golf courses to visit whether by the sea or surrounded by spectacular backdrops of hills and forests, from the local course at Newton Stewart to the links courses at St Medans, Monreith, and Dunskey, Portpatrick. Reduced fees are available for residents on several courses. Fishing is a popular pastime, whether river or loch, for salmon or trout, course fishing or sea angling. The hotel can provide further information and fishing can be arranged on our own exclusive water. There are excellent walks from a variety of forest trails, scenic routes or even the Southern Upland Way. The surrounding countryside is steeped in history, providing ancient castles and Culzean Castle to make interesting trips. The Whithorn Dig - the cradle of Christianity - is also nearby. New to the Creebridge this year: Gamesooting - Driven pheasant. (rough shooting), for grouse, pheasant, partridge, woodcock, snipe, hares or rabbits. Shooting and walked up can be arranged for guests or groups. We can also provide guides for deer stalking. Whatever your interests, the Creebridge is the ideal base for an interesting and very relaxing place to stay. Please be aware that the hotel does not have a lift.
