The main house, known as Rising Lodge, can be dated back to 1588 as the residence and meeting place for persons of note. It is reputed to be on the site of the King's hunting lodge and it grew with increasing success into a large working farm. In the 1970s and 80s it fell into disrepair and was purchased by the present owners and converted into a hotel. Knights Barn Conference and Banqueting Centre is an unrivalled venue for conferences, meetings, product launches, trade shows, exhibitions, banqueting and weddings. Above is the Hayloft, ideal for small groups and parties. 'Imagine' will offer the finest contemporary day spa experience in the region and along with the refurbished health club, will offer the very latest in heat and water therapies combined with dedicated therapist treatments including massages and facials.
